NOVI, Mich., – ATEQ TPMS Tools, LC, leader of TPMS Tool solutions for the OE, Industrial and Aftermarket industries announced on Monday that VT56 users in Europe will be eligible for a commercial truck upgrade, giving tool users access to read and diagnose TPMS on all commercial trucks on the road. 

The addition of the commercial truck upgrade for the VT56 comes ahead of the new commercial truck TPMS legislation, which is set to go into effect in July 2022. 

“We are very excited to be releasing this one-of-a-kind upgrade. For the first time, users in Europe can service both passenger and commercial vehicles without having to invest in separate tools. Releasing this upgrade alongside the new legislation puts our customer-driven solutions ahead of the curve,” said Eri Muca, Global Aftermarket TPMS Manager.

When users upgrade their VT56, they will be given the ability to select either the passenger vehicle or the commercial vehicle database. Users can switch between both options whenever needed. For commercial vehicles, users will be able to perform a quick check of all TPMS sensors, as well as create a custom vehicle profile with specific wheel and axle configurations. The upgrade also includes TPMS sensor part number lookup when servicing commercial vehicle sensors, and will have the ability to program aftermarket sensors as they are introduced to the market.

The Truck Upgrade will be available to purchase in mid-July.
