ATEQ TPMS Tools reveals the SEMA 2018 booth vehicle, a 1992 Land Rover Defender, at the outdoor featured vehicle area at booth V63, between the lower south hall and central hall. The vehicle is custom built by world famous custom vehicle builder and racer, Paul Ireson. The vehicle’s restoration was made to replicate the Defender in the James Bond film Spectre.

Since 1983, nine Land Rover vehicles have appeared in James Bond films. With ATEQ’s booth 40217 displaying a 1966 Jaguar XKE in gold, it only seemed appropriate to bring another James Bond-esque vehicle to display.

“Lately, I’ve had a lot of fun restoring and customizing Defenders at our shop, Royal Defenders with my partner Tripp King. We currently have 11 Land Rover Defenders at the shop, all imported from England. They are all in various stages for customers to restore and sell. We are excited to bring this one-of-a-kind vehicle to the SEMA show” commented Paul Ireson.

Since 1997, Paul has specialized in customizing and restoring Land Rovers. After stripping the vehicles, he builds and restores the vehicles back to have a unique and creative purpose. With his long history and incredible results, Paul has been featured in magazines and on TV such as TechShop Magazine, Street Machine Magazine, Fox Sports Network, Speed Channel, and many more.
